Ceryn

How Ceryn works

Ceryn is a cash-secured Stock Token put marketplace. One user commits to buy a fixed amount of one specified Stock Token for a fixed total USDG price before a deadline. Another user pays a fixed USDG premium for the right, but not the obligation, to make that sale.

Four actions

  1. The writer approves and deposits the entire USDG purchase amount into the market contract. The offer is open.
  2. A buyer pays the stated USDG premium. It is sent immediately to the writer and is not refunded by this contract.
  3. Before expiry, only that buyer may transfer the exact Stock Token amount to the writer and receive the escrowed USDG. The market settles both legs atomically.
  4. If no buyer accepted, the writer may cancel and retrieve the escrow. If expiry arrives without exercise, anyone can trigger return of the escrow to the writer.

Contract and assets

Network: Robinhood Chain. Market: 0x153341E79C16683d3355760C569d50D32193aCFf. USD asset: 0x5fc5360D0400a0Fd4f2af552ADD042D716F1d168. Stock asset: 0xaF3D76f1834A1d425780943C99Ea8A608f8a93f9.

The underlying asset is the selected Stock Token on Robinhood Chain. Check issuer transfer rules before using an offer.

Economic risks

The writer keeps the premium but may be required to buy the Stock Token above its market value. The buyer can lose the entire premium if exercising is not attractive or possible before expiry. Neither side is guaranteed a profit or counterparty. Premiums are set by offer makers, not an advertised APY.

Stock Tokens may have issuer transfer restrictions, pauses, market-hours effects, corporate actions or regulatory limitations. Token transferability and liquidity at exercise must be checked independently. The market has no oracle, liquidation, margin top-up or partial exercise. Each offer settles all at once.

Security and status

The contract is immutable and has no admin withdrawal path. It has not received an independent security audit. Smart-contract failures, UI errors, wallet compromise, chain outages and token behavior can cause loss. Use only amounts you can afford to lose. The project is independent and is not affiliated with Robinhood or token issuers.

The market contract is deployed on mainnet; this does not constitute an audit or guarantee token transferability.
